The situation, uncovering the challenges
Ella Bache is a household name in the line of skincare. As their business continues to expand, they sought out logistical expertise to plan and implement the movement of their warehouse stock, equipment, lab testing space and product within the busy industrial hub of Artarmon.
Given the busy Christmas and New Year period, the primary aim was to complete the relocation over 2 stages to mitigate any risk to operations. The Transition project team needed to plan and execute the relocation efficiently and ensure that all stakeholders were available throughout the relocation periods. Transition’s process centred around considering each warehouse section to help define the sequence for each relocation ensuring business as usual.
We delivered
- Exacting inventory management to carefully track the movement of all product and equipment
- Expert specialists in the dismantle and reassembly of multiple types of storage plus precise placement down to the centimetre in the new warehouse (product flow racking, heavy duty racking etc.)
- We collaborated with key stakeholders and suppliers to deliver the project at a busy time of year where sourcing crew may have been challenging
- 2 strong logistics strategies which factored in the short time frame of the project and the time of year (end of 2024, start of 2025)

- Engagement of specialists (heavy haulage, forklifts etc.) to undertake expert service delivery
- The dismantle, relocation and reassembly of over 70 bays of specialist racking without error
